CAVENDO TUTUS

The Italian weapons valley

The motto “cavendo tutus” comes from Latin and translates into Italian as “being cautious, you will be safe.” This saying is often used as a motto or inscription on coats of arms, as in the case of the Duke of Devonshire, whose coat of arms bears this motto.
